The European Central Bank has chosen payments technology company Nexi to develop a digital euro prototype

The European Central Bank has chosen Nexi, a European payment technology company, to develop a prototype front-end for making payments using the digital euro, Finextra reported. In the coming months, a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of Nexi experts will work closely with the ECB's Digital Euro Project team to explore front-end technology solutions for digital Euro payments.
