A subsidiary of Japanese financial giant SBI has won a capital markets licence in Singapore
BlockBeats - SBI Digital Markets, a subsidiary of the Digital assets division of Japanese financial services giant SBI Holdings, has been granted a Capital Markets Services (CMS) licence to offer securities and futures trading services in Singapore on Sept 15. SBI Digital Markets plans to launch an institutional level Digital asset securities platform that will enable traditional financial services operators to "capture crypto market-driven growth opportunities".
SBI Digital Markets was founded in 2020 to become a crypto services provider offering a range of services, including the issuance and hosting of virtual assets.
