Telstra Ventures' third fund has raised $344 million, giving crypto investment a boost
Telstra Ventures, one of Australia's largest venture capital funds, announced on September 13 that it had raised 500 million Australian dollars (344 million US dollars) for its third fund. It will focus on promoting investment in cloud services, networking, creator economy, encryption (including blockchain) and other areas. Matthew Koertge, co-managing director of Telstra Ventures, said the new fund had attracted 35 limited partnerships from around the world, illustrating its strong team reputation and market position.
In April, Telstra Ventures participated in a new round of funding for blockchain infrastructure startup Blockdaemon, BlockBeats previously reported.
