Payments company Bolt's $1.5 billion acquisition of crypto payments provider Wyre has fallen through, and the two will continue to work together independently
One-click payments company Bolt's $1.5 billion bid to acquire crypto payments provider Wyre fell through amid investor warier over its business model and post-stock market crash valuation, Axios reported on September 10, and the two sides will continue to work together while remaining independent.
As previously reported by BlockBeats, the Wall Street Journal said in April that Financial Payments company Bolt Financial is buying crypto Payments service Wyre Payments for about $1.5 billion. That would make it the largest merger in crypto that does not involve a special purpose acquisition company, according to data from research firm Dealogic.
