ZkSync 2.0 Testnet has been implemented for dynamic cost
BlockBeats news, on August 31, Ethereum Layer 2 expansion solution zkSync issued a statement that zkSync 2.0 test network has implemented dynamic fees, including a new fee model, update to add payment supervisor support to account abstraction, and IP-1559 support. The main network is expected to go live in 59 days. After the update, the transaction history and Token balance have been reset, and the developer needs to redeploy the contract.
As BlockBeats previously reported, on August 17, zkSync announced that it will introduce a new Gas pricing model to enable dynamic pricing. The new fee model will price fees based on the resources consumed by the transaction and rename the unit of measurement "gas" to "ERGs". In addition, the new cost model will support EIP-1559.
