Thai cryptocurrency trading platform Bitkub CTO has been fined more than $230,000 by regulators for insider trading

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand issued a statement saying, Samrong Wachanasathien, Chief technology officer of cryptocurrency trading platform Bitkub, speaks with Bitkub Online Company Limited at SCB Securities Company Limited Bought more than $60,000 worth of trading platform Token KUB when the deal was not completed. Thailand's Civil Sanctions Committee (OCSC) ordered Samrong Wachanasathien to be fined 8,530,383 baht (about $234,500) and barred from acting asa director or officer of a digital asset operating entity for 12 months.
