Gunfire Near White House, Trump on Site, Suspect Dead

According to law enforcement officials, during the incident, an "emotionally disturbed suspect" approached a checkpoint near the White House at the intersection of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, and after being urged to leave to no avail, started firing at law enforcement officers.
